We're going Thailand!

Finally, for the first time this week, I can sit down peacefully and not blog as if the power will be cut anytime. Its been a really busy week, coupled with insomnia and lots of coffee in the mornings.

Its fund-raising again this morning, lots more car waxing and tired arms. However, the atmosphere was tense..it was like everyone was hit by some dark mood and were fighting to keep their spirits up. Pastor Daniel called it a spiritual attack. Well, I think its more of a lapse of spiritual defense. The evil one constantly tries to attack us, and if we dont keep the joy of the Lord in our hearts we'll end up being infiltrated. I think it works that way, cause the world is Satan's tool to corrupt us, and we live in this world full of temptations; if we dont keep our focus, we'll lose the light and fire that drives us, like what happened this morning to some of us. Gotta keep this in mind during mission trip. I wanted to get a huge sunflower from the flower girls today for Yanni as a belated birthday present, her birthday's yesterday. But they werent selling any today! Last week's sunflowers were really nice. =]

Yesterday, we had a combined cell group session of all the cells in Tim's region. Tim had all the mission troopers stand in front, and conducted a prayer session for us. Then, yellow wristbands were given out to those not going for MT, and they were asked to put them on one of those going and pray for them individually. God, its great to know that so many brothers and sisters are behind us! Many tears were shed..Its was a really touching moment of close fellowship. Thanks lots for the band, Evee, I'll keep you and Jireh in prayer always. =]

Its a brand new week, 3 more mission trip trainings and lots of preparations to do. Hilary, Ben, Mich, CS, CC, Li Shan, Evan - we're gonna go Thailand together, shake the world for Him and have loads of fun! Hilary still hasnt passed me her digicam yet though...=P

Living for God 24/7, what more can I want? =]
